What’s your job role at Impression Dental Laboratory?
Managing Director

How long have you worked at Impression Dental?
One of the Original Directors from the start up in August 1990. A month before I got married. No pressure there then!!

What’s a work-related accomplishment or something you’re proud of?
Managing an extremely talented bunch of dedicated staff who want to do their very best for the clients we serve and most importantly their patients.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Family Time, Regular exercise, gold, Skiing and a season ticket for Liverpool FC.

Morgan

What’s your job role at Impression Dental Laboratory?
I am the DAMAS Coordinator, Main Administrator and I run all the social media accounts!

How long have you worked at Impression Dental?
I started working at Impression in August 2017 as soon as I left school. I saw the opportunity at Impression to complete an admin/business apprenticeship so I went for it. So Coming up to my 4th Year here!

What’s a work-related accomplishment or something you’re proud of?
I’m super proud of myself as I started as a admin apprentice and worked myself up to be DAMAS Coordinator. I’m also proud that I’ve passed my first DAMAS inspection and hope to be passing many more.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I’m really into my music so I love going to festivals and concerts. I also love going to the Football to watch my club Everton F.C.

What’s your job role at Impression Dental Laboratory?
I have many!! I am Steve’s PA, I deal with all the accounts and keep everyone in the lab in check!!!

How long have you worked at Impression Dental?
I started working at Impression in January 2013! I can’t believe how fast it has gone, I have basically grown up here.

What’s a work-related accomplishment or something you’re proud of?
I started off working here when I was 17 years old and have worked my way up to where I am now learning so many new skills along the way, this has been a great achievement for me seeing the growth I have accomplished. Also being able to train and teach people who have come into the lab at the same position I started off at and seeing them grow and develop has been so rewarding.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Everyone at the lab calls me the party girl!! I love to go out with friends and socialise! I also love to have weekends away and travel to many different places as much as I can!

Tony

What’s your job role at Impression Dental Laboratory?
I think I wear many hats.
I am the lab manager, create metal frameworks, zirconia designs, acrylic temps composite crowns and inlays, diagnostic wax ups, cosmetic makeover process and design. I check and oversea case quality, consult and visit dentists. I also take shades at the lab and do best to pass on knowledge to our team where I can and I’m part time agony aunt. I could go on….

How long have you worked at Impression Dental?
I have been at Impressions over 20 years. In that time I have seen many changes from what was a largely and skilled profession to one that’s relying more and more on digital technologies.

What’s a work-related accomplishment or something you’re proud of?
I have played a large part in the aesthetic make over process that been such a success. I’m also glad that in some ways i have helped quite a few apprentices on their way to becoming very good technicians. The icing on the cake for me is that I hope I have helped to make people smile.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love family time, sticking some food on the Barbie or a meal out. We also are season ticket holders for Wigan rugby league. I love to relax casting a fishing line by the river or walking my little pal Monty dog.

What’s your job role at Impression Dental Laboratory?
Ceramist Manager/ Technician

How long have you worked at Impression Dental?
Since January 2014, I went to college for about 3months before I decided it wasn’t for me then the opportunity for an apprenticeship at Impression came about and it worked out perfectly, 7 years later here I still am!

What’s a work-related accomplishment or something you’re proud of? I would have to say my biggest accomplishment was finishing my dental technology course and coming out with a foundation degree, it’s something I never thought but all the hard work has paid off!!!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I have recently just bought my first home so a lot of my time has gone into developing and renovating that, I love getting home inspo and planning my future home!

Ian

What’s your job role at Impression Dental Laboratory?
Manger. Anything implant related. Cad-cam design and software.
Acrylics, all on 4 immediate load in surgery.
Surgery visits to support surgeons.
Wirley bridge gingiva composite also general composites and acrylic structures to try in or long term.
Metal implant structure and zirconia.
I also deal with all IT. Issues in the lab and support surgery the best I can
Teach and support up and coming apprentice .
General equipment maintenance and purchase. Communicating-via Telephone and what’s app email . Dealing with day to day lab challenges.

How long have you worked at Impression Dental?
20 years +

What’s a work related accomplishment or something you’re proud of? The daily work I do,
To see people smiling after the restorations,
It often brings a tear to your eye,
I am especially proud of young people I have encouraged .

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Family time, Swimming, cycling, running and I enjoy everything related to triathlon.
